The final Santa Barbara County IRWM Plan 2013 is now available for download (in separate files due to the large size of each file) from this site (see below).

Regional stakeholders have been participating in the development of an update to the 2007 IRWM Plan since early 2012. The Santa Barbara County Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) Plan 2013 provides information from newer planning documents, policies, workshops, meetings, data gathering, and IRWM Plan 2013 workgroups.  The IRWM Plan 2013 was completed by the Santa Barbara County IRWM Cooperating Partners that is comprised of over 25 water agencies, jurisdictions, water and sanitary districts, and non-profit organizations from throughout the County.

The intent of the IRWM Program in Santa Barbara County is to promote and practice integrated regional water management strategies to ensure sustainable water uses, reliable water supplies, better water quality, environmental stewardship, efficient urban development, protection of agricultural and watershed awareness.
