The County Planning and Development Department (P&D) initiated a competitive bid process and selected Rincon Consultants to prepare a traffic study, conceptual roadway drawings, and environmental review for the project.  Rincon Consultants, in consultation with P&D and Caltrans, is currently preparing a traffic study and an Initial Study to determine what type of environmental document is necessary for the project. 

Description

The project would amend the Orcutt Community Plan to include a new local road connection between the Union Valley Parkway/U.S. Highway 101 interchange and the adjoining frontage road on the east side of U.S. Highway 101.

Timeline

P&D anticipates the general plan amendment and the associated environmental document will be completed by summer 2020.
