The County Board of Supervisors adopted the Coastal Resiliency Project Local Coastal Program (LCP) amendment at their December 11, 2018, hearing. The LCP amendment will not go into effect until it is certified by the California Coastal Commission at an upcoming hearing (Date TBD).


The County of Santa Barbara's Coastal Resiliency Project is a grant-funded effort to evaluate the impacts of sea level rise and related coastal hazards along the County's entire 110-mile long coastline.
