It is funny how day by day, nothing changes but then you look back, and everything is different. People I didn't know a year ago are people I deeply care about today. Projects and programs that didn't exist twelve months ago have found their place among the ongoing services County HR offers.
For example, our New Employee Welcome (NEW) has a new structure and objective. With feedback from over 200 employees we welcomed in 2019, the NEW2020 was re-designed and will better meet the needs of our new County team members. Additionally, the department has launched two new County initiatives: 1) Diversity & Inclusion and 2) Wellness. Meet the individuals charged with promoting an inclusive and healthy County work environment. It is County HR's goal to ensure we cultivate a culture of belonging and well-being where our employees can bring their best self and be inspired to better service our community.
