A 20 month old baby boy from Goleta is in critical but stable condition following a traffic accident that occurred at approximately 5:15 p.m. last night, November 11th. A female adult, who was not the child's mother, was pushing the baby in a stroller across Cathedral Oaks Road at Santa Marguerita Drive in the city of Goleta when she was struck by a vehicle heading westbound.

At approximately 6 a.m. on September 16, Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the area known as "Granny's Field" in regards to an unconscious assault victim. Granny's Field is an open field located west of San Simeon Drive and San Angelo Avenue in the unincorporated area of Santa Barbara County.

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office is searching for a parolee wanted in connection with a stabbing that occurred just after midnight, on November 6, outside of the Chumash Casino. The victim, a Nipomo resident, was stabbed several times while inside a vehicle on the Indian Reservation. He also had his cell phone and wallet stolen.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. last night, November 5, Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Deputies with the Isla Vista Foot Patrol responded to the 6600 block of Abrego Road to a report of a strong armed robbery. A witness had called 911 to report seeing a male victim being attacked by two male suspects.
