Job Services
Are you looking for a job, or a better job? Resources are available to help you, including job seeker services from America’s Job Centers of California, and job training through the Workforce Investment & Opportunity Act (WIOA) program.

Adult Services
Adult Protective Services (APS) investigates allegations of abuse and neglect of elderly or disabled adults, and offers referrals to helpful services. In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) provides caregiving services that enable elderly or disabled adults to continue living safely at home. The IHSS Public Authority recruits, trains, and pays IHSS caregivers.

Child Services
Child Welfare Services (CWS) investigates allegations of abuse or neglect of children, offers services to improve child safety in the home, and can temporarily or permanently place children with Resource Families to keep them safer. The Resource Family Approval program helps interested parties become resource families (also known as foster parents).
