As part of the County of Santa Barbara's Community Services Department, the Sustainability Division collaborates across County departments and regionally to create opportunities that empower and connect people to enhance the environment and our quality of life.
The division is guided by the County's Energy and Climate Action Plan, which seeks to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from County operations and communitywide.

The County of Santa Barbara and the Cities of Carpinteria, Goleta, and Santa Barbara invite you to a 2nd Clean Energy Community Meeting to to share updates and seek feedback on the recently completed community choice energy feasibility study and strategic energy planning efforts to create a countywide Clean Energy Roadmap and support Goleta and Santa Barbara's 100% renewable energy goals.
