Site Statistics
You have access to key statistics on the
visits made to your web site. You can view
statistics and compare reports based
on pages on your site, entry pages,
exit pages, pages visited only once and
others.
A user guide is available at DeepMetrix,
provider of these services through our
ISP. A couple of things different from
the guide you need to know:
- Logging in: Clicking on the link
to go to the stats page automatically
logs you in. Do not follow their instructions
for logging in.
- To view stats for your site only:
- click on Pages and Content then Pages
(or Entry Pages, Exit Pages, etc.) then Ungrouped
Pages.
- Enter your department folder
in the "Find" field
as /dept/. For instance,
for the County Executive Office
pages, enter /cao/. If
you want to find a division within
your department that has it's own
folder, enter as /dept/div/ - /cao/ece/ (County
Executive Office/Office of Early
Care and Education).
- Reports: When you download a report
in PDF,
all items displayed in the HTML report
online will be included in the downloaded
PDF file. For example, if you have
set the list size to display the top
25 items for the Pages report, only
the top 25 pages will be included in
the PDF. When you download a report
to CSV or XML, all items
within the selected report period will
be included in the downloaded file to
a maximum of the top 2000 items.
- A report saved as CSV can
be opened in Excel. You can then
create your own reports and charts.
