Ventucopa Transfer Station is located on Highway 33 in Ventucopa, California. This facility can process up to 80 cubic yards of waste during each day that it is open. Waste from the Ventucopa Transfer Station, containing a high percentage of recyclables, is taken to the South Coast Recycling and Transfer Station, where the recyclables are removed and subsequently loaded into County trailer trucks for transport to a processor. the residual waste is then transported to the Tajiguas Landfill, located in Goleta, California.

The Ventucopa Transfer Station is open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. during Pacific Daylight Savings Time (from the second weekend in March to the first weekend in November) and from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. during Pacific Standard Time (from the first weekend in November to the first weekend in March). It is also closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. There are no tipping fees at this facility, and it only accommodates residents of the Ventucopa area of Santa Barbara County. If you have any questions, please call (805) 448-7489.
