Baron Ranch Master Plan
In conjunction with the Third Supervisorial District and the Community Services Department, Parks Division, the Public Works Department, Resource Recovery & Waste Management Division has begun the process to develop a Master Plan for Baron Ranch, which is located on the Gaviota coast. The proposed objectives of this Master Plan are to:
- Maintain the functionality of Baron Ranch as a buffer and mitigation site for the Division;
- Ensure protection of environmental resources required under current and future permits from various regulatory agencies;
- Identify and evaluate options for developing increased public recreational opportunities on Baron Ranch; and
- Ensure that all activities are fiscally sustainable and to consider revenue generating opportunities to offset costs to ratepayers.

SAVE THE DATE: Public Workshop on November 14, 2019

14, 2019 to attend a Public Workshop at the Goleta Valley Community Center
(GVCC) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. to convey your views and input on the potential
future uses of Baron Ranch. The GVCC is located at 5679 Hollister Avenue in
