The Maintenance section maintains the public roads and storm drainage facilities in the unincorporated County area. The Road Maintenance Staff preserves and maintains existing travel ways with typical work consisting of sealing pavement, repairing failed pavement, and re-grading road shoulders. Maintenace Staff maintains the County's Urban Forest consisting of approximately 21,000 street trees. They also provide services to keep County-owned drainage facilities free of debris and obstructions to prevent flooding of adjoining properties.
