Goleta Planning Area

Goleta is an unincorporated portion of Santa Barbara County and one of seven planning areas under the jurisdiction of County government. The Goleta Planning Area (GPA) lies mostly on the coastal shelf between the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Ynez range, east of the City of Goleta and west of the City of Santa Barbara, and includes the southern slopes of the mountains up to the crest.
