Mission Statement
COYA, is an action driven alliance of teens increasing awareness of the health risks of tobacco and encouraging prevention and policy change within the community, while providng members with leadership skills, in a fun safe environment, anf the opportunity to serve the public.

What Does COYA Do?
Who Can Join?
High school-age youth in Santa Barbara County who want to better the health of their commmunity.
Why Should I join?
To earn community service hours or pay
To gain leadership skills
To build your resume or college application
To get involved in your community
To make a difference in tobacco-related health issues
What's The Commitment?
2 meetings per month, 2 hours each, totaling 4 hours
An additional 4-6 hours of service per month
Total time commitment is only 8-10 hours a month!
Commit yourself to a drug, alcohol, and tobacco free lifestyle
Attend the annual COYA retreat
Check your emails regularly
