Revisions to the Animal Ordinance, Chapter 7 of the County Code, is now scheduled for a first reading at the Board of Supervisors Meeting on November 4, 2014.
National Pit Bull Awareness Month
The Responsible Pet Ownership (RPO) Alliance is offering FREE spay/neuter services for Pit Bulls or Pit Bull mixes throughout the month of October as a part of our “Love-A-Bull, Fix-A-Bull” Campaign. The first 150 Pit Bull or Pit Bull mixes signed up to be altered will also receive a free rabies vaccination and a $10 microchip. To top it off, the RPO Alliance is also offering $20 adoption fees for Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes in our shelters. [ Press Release ]
