This historic community building is located on Santa Barbara's premier waterfront. The Auditorium seats 240, the Cabrillo Room seats 75, and the Ocean View Room seats 75.

Fees

Security Deposit
A $500.00 refundable security deposit is charged for each event/reservation. This fee must be paid in advance in order to secure your date.

Staff Fees
A County Facilities staff member is required for all events after 5:00 PM Monday through Friday and any time on Saturdays and Sundays. If your event requires additional staff before 5PM Monday through Friday the staff fee will apply.
Staff fees are $30.00 per hour.

Security Guards
Security guards are required for all events after 5:00 PM Monday through Friday and any time on Saturdays and Sundays.
Security guard fees will be charged at a rate of $25.00 per hour per guard (1 guard for every 50 people, maximum of 4).

Cleaning Fees
The County contracts with a cleaning service that cleans the facility the following day.

Additional Requirements

  • A certificate of liability insurance covering the day(s) of use is required for all events.
  • If alcohol will be sold at you event, a Special Event Permit from California Alcoholic Beverage Control is required. Their office can be reached at (805) 289-0100
  • If you plan to sell, sample, consume or distribute any food items (including bottled water and pre-packaged food) to the public, a Temporary Food Facility (TFF) Permit will be required. This permit is required if you are providing food prepared on–site or distributing prepackaged food. The application for the temporary food facility permit can be obtained by contacting Santa Barbara County Environmental Health Service at (805) 346-8460

Tables and/or chairs are included (availability is not guaranteed if not pre-arranged) in the rates listed above. You may bring your own pre-approved tables and chairs.
