Boat Rentals are again available at Cachuma Lake. A new concession, Rocky Mountain Recreation Company, opened for business May 26, 2010 with new lower prices! Additional helpful and important information is also available at Boating, Quagga Information, and Fishing.
Slip Rentals
Lake Cachuma offers dry and wet slip storage units for boats. Slips run from $15.00 per night, $70.00 per week and $85.00 per month. Monthly slips require a 2-month minimum plus and $85.00 refundable security deposit. Available slips are limited, so don't wait. Contact the bait shop at (805) 688-4040 for availibility.

Boating Regulations (SANTA BARBARA COUNTY)
Standard-designed Boat Minimums:
- 10 ft. long, 42 in. wide and 12 in. deep in the passenger carrying space
- Inflatables must have rigid flooring, a rigid transom, and 2 or more inflatable chambers.
- Boats under 12 ft. long and 48 in. wide may carry no more than 2 persons.
- Collapsibles must be at least 12 ft. in length, bow to stern, may not carry more than 2 persons, and may not carry a motor weighing more than 50 lbs. All collapsibles must display a Coast Guard certificate for design and manufacturer.
- Catamarans with trampoline decks must be at least 14 ft. in length, and may carry a maximum 4 persons. Dogs are allowed in boats.
Boat Inspections:
- Quagga Muscle Inspections are MANDATORY
- All vessels MUST display a Cachuma Lake annual or day-use permit and current state registration (decal and number)
