2013 Lifeguard Hours and Summer Schedule

Cachuma Lake Pools
Pools will be open for Saturday/Sunday Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-26 and Saturday June 1.  They will reopen Saturday, June 8 through Monday, September 2 seven days a week.
Each day, the first session begins at 11:00am, the second session begins at 1:30pm, and the third session begins at 4:00pm.  All sessions are two hours long.

Fees: $3.00 per swimmer for a two hour session.  Tickets may be purchased up to one half hour in advance of each session.

Joseph Centeno Aquatics Complex

The pool facility is closed at this time and there is no set opening date.  Both pools were substantially damaged during the offseason and are in need of repair.  While the pool is under repair the County Community Services Department will offer a free bus to Paul Nelson Aquatic Center on the following days.  June 27, 29; July 9, 11, 18, 20, 25, 27; August 1, 3, 8, and 10.

Goleta Beach and Arroyo Burro Beach

Lifeguards will be on duty starting Memorial Day Weekend (May 25-27), June 1-2, and everyday from June 8 through September 2.  Lifeguards will only be on duty September weekends after Labor Day.
10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Jalama Beach

Lifeguards will be on duty every day from May 25 through September 2
and on weekends through September.
10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
