Community Planning

There are many ways for individuals to work together within their communities and local organizations to prepare for disasters, including a possible pandemic. In the event of a flu pandemic, the ability of community groups to work together with public health will be key in protecting the public’s health.

One great way to become involved in preparedness activities in your community is to join a local Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).  Please see the local Office of Emergency Services CERT Web page for more information.

Additional Information for Communities
