Created by the Board of Supervisors in 1991 as an advisory body on children and family issues, the KIDS Network is a county-wide umbrella organization including members from public agencies, the courts, law enforcement, education, community-based organizations, school-linked programs and parent groups. The Network was formed to coordinate existing services and strategically determine priority needs and concerns in the areas of human services, health, education and juvenile justice for children and families.
