New Innovative Online Tools from Aetna.com

You know about the extremely helpful online tools that Aetna makes available to its members. The plan sponsors you work with may have seen demonstrations. But when it came time for the plan sponsor’s employees to choose a health plan, all they could do was read about the resources that would be available if they chose Aetna. Now that has changed.

We’ve launched a new section on Aetna.com that allows non-members to preview some of the innovative online tools and resources that are available to our members. The "test drive" section can be accessed through a banner on the front page of aetna.com It’s designed to help potential members explore the value and capabilities of Aetna’s "members-only" secure online tools, such as the Aetna Personal Health Record and our cost of care capabilities. More will be added soon.

This platform allows non-members to experience our capabilities in an exciting, interactive way, to help demonstrate the value of being an Aetna member.

Visitors to the site now can see a demonstration of the Aetna Personal Health Record and a module highlighting the value of our health cost calculator, which allows members to research cost and quality of care across the country. We will continue to add modules to provide potential members with a comprehensive view of our capabilities – the next module on Aetna SmartSource is scheduled to launch in October.
