Cancellation Policy

You must cancel a class 72 hours (business days) in advance in writing by sending an email to euregis@co.santa-barbara.ca.us.  There are no refunds for cancellations with less than 72 hour notice, or for no-shows.  If you cancel with less than 72 hour notice, your department will be charged, but you may send someone else from your department to take your place.  If the EU cancels a class, you will be notified immediately and there will be no charge to your department.

Attendance

All EU classes begin and end on time and you are expected to attend the entire length of the class.  Credit will not be given if you leave a class before the end of the session or if you do not complete any other requirements of the class.  Late arrivals of 15 minutes or more will not be allowed in the class.  If you think you will be more than 15 minutes late, please call the EU at ext. 1740 as early as possible.

If you meet all requirements, your attendance in the class is recorded as "complete."  Attendance information for general EU classes is  sent to SBCC so that you may receive academic credit as requested.  If you do not complete the class or any other requirements, your attendance in the class is recorded as "incomplete."

Attendance information is compiled at the end of each term and sent to your department as a confirmation that you did or did not complete the class(es).

If you cancel with 72 hour notice, your name will not appear on the report sent to your department.  If you do not cancel within the 72 hour period, your name will show on the report as an incomplete and your department will be charged for the class.
