Permit Path Determination

The following tools are provided to help you determine which permit application your project requires. However, Planner Consultations are available to help answer more detailed questions, and are recommended for projects that have the potential to be controversial.

New Facility

Use the Permit Determination Guide to help you determine what type of permit is required for a new facility project.

Changes to an Approved Project

Changes to approved permits, including those for built facilities, are permitted based on the consistency the change has with the approved project. Read through the Changes to an Approved Project requirements to determine what type of application your project requires.
