The County
of Santa Barbara respects and values a diverse workforce and
strongly promotes strategies and activities to recruit, develop
and retain qualified men and women of varied backgrounds,
lifestyles, experiences and races.
Cultural
Recognition Program
To improve the County’s methods for
incorporating diversity into its general practices and celebrating
the diversity of its workforce, the EEO staff worked jointly
with the Board of Supervisors in creating the County’s
Cultural Recognition Program which recognizes cultural holidays,
events and associated community organizations which have kept
a pulse on diversity issues.
