<empty> Welcome to the Journey of Parenting!

This is one of the most important roles you will ever have. As a parent, you have the opportunity to develop the future of our society by influencing the minds of tomorrow.

Brain research proves that warm, nurturing, and reciprocal relationships optimize a child’s growth potential and shapes their social and cognitive skills for life. How you and others interact with your child is how your child will interact with the world. Every value you hold dear will be reflected in the actions and words of your child, so your child’s environment should reflect those values.

We all wish that parenting came with a handbook and we could take the time to become experts. Fortunately, there are many professionals that parents can go to for advice and support, and for help in providing care. It is essential to provide children with quality care and experiences both at home and in child care.

Not all child care is the same and there are a variety of options. The best you can do for your child is to recognize that children are unique and special and that only you as their parent can determine what is best. When choosing child care, look for those programs that fit your child’s inner being and your values as a parent. This site is intended to support you in exploring quality child care options suitable to your needs, provide information on parenting topics, and guide you through advocacy steps so that you may be a strong voice for children.
