The Department of Alcohol, Drug, and Mental Health Services (ADMHS) provides treatment, rehabilitation and support services to approximately 7,600 clients with mental illness and 4,500 clients with substance use disorders annually. If you or a family member or friend are in need services, click here.

Mental Health Programs
 
The Department is responsible for ensuring the provision of mental health services mandated by the State of California for children with serious emotional disturbance, adults with serious mental illness and all Medi-Cal beneficiaries with specialty mental health needs.


Alcohol and Drug Programs

The Department’s Alcohol and Drug Program Division (ADP) has responsibility for ensuring the delivery of publicly funded alcohol and drug prevention, early intervention, treatment and recovery support services.
