Patients' Rights Advocates are ADMHS staff who report directly to the ADMHS Director.  They are available to assist anyone who has a concern about the legal rights of consumers, family members, and members of the community.  Patients' Rights Advocates can answer questions, provide advice, and represent consumers in grievances, appeals, and State Fair Hearings.  The Patients' Rights Advocates also help protect the rights of people who have been hospitalized involuntarily in the Psychiatric Health Facility.
