Volunteers help paint, garden, and clean up for a half-day at local charities.
Last year's Santa Barbara Day of Caring drew over 1,000 volunteers, including 25 from the County.
This year, United Way of Santa Barbara County will coordinate Santa Barbara's Day of Caring,
and United Way of Northern Santa Barbara County will coordinate Day of Caring for Lompoc
and Santa Maria.
Santa Barbara's 17thAnnual Day of Caring will take place on:
Sat, Sept 20, 8:00 AM-1:00 PM.
Meet at Page Youth Center, then leave for sites.

All volunteers must sign up by September 1st.

The $9 lunch cost covers the food
and the remainder goes toward the

"Now More Than Ever" Raffle
This year's "Now More Than Ever" Raffle will take place throughout the campaign. We will have weekly drawings and a Grand Drawing on October 31st. An updated list of prizes will be sent out weekly with notifications of that week's winner. Tickets can be purchased from your Site Rep or Lead Department Rep.
This year we have added a new, fun twist to the campaign! To raise extra money we will be sending candy grams to all County Employees. These
can be sent to any other county employee and will contain a personal message from the buyer. All candy grams will be delivered on Halloween. Ask your Site Rep or Lead Department Rep for ordering information.
