Day of Caring

Volunteers help paint, garden, and clean up for a half-day at local charities. Last year's Santa Barbara Day of Caring drew over 1,000 volunteers, including 25 from the County. This year, United Way of Santa Barbara County will coordinate Santa Barbara's Day of Caring, and United Way of Northern Santa Barbara County will coordinate Day of Caring for Lompoc and Santa Maria.

Santa Barbara's 17thAnnual Day of Caring will take place on: Sat, Sept 20, 8:00 AM-1:00 PM. Meet at Page Youth Center, then leave for sites.

More information to follow for Lompoc and Santa Maria.

All volunteers must sign up by September 1st.

Contact Dan Hernandez, Director of Parks, at 568.2461 to RSVP.
