The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the Santa Barbara County South Coast and Mountains (zones CAZ252, CAZ239) in effect from 3 pm Tuesday July 24, 2018 to 10 am Thursday July 26, 2018.

The third suspect wanted for breaking into a residence in Montecito last night, July 18, 2018 is in custody.

At approximately 6:45 a.m. today, July 19, 2018, an adult male was walking southbound along the railroad tracks just east of Olive Mill Rd in Montecito when he was fatally injured by an Amtrak passenger train that was headed northbound.

Two suspects are in custody and a third is wanted following a residential burglary that was interrupted in Montecito.
