County-operated emPower Program Offers Green Advice for the Season

On Wednesday, November 30, 2016, the Compliance Response Team requested the assistance from the Sheriff's Special Investigations Bureau and Santa Maria Police Department to conduct search warrant service, in conjunction with a Community Supervision compliance check at a residence in the 1800 block of Kent Ct., in Santa Maria.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff's deputies conducted an arrest warrant operation at a residence in the 7400 block of Stanley Park Rd. in Carpinteria today, November 30, 2016, which resulted in four arrests. Through the course of an investigation, Sheriff's deputies learned there were several people living at the residence who had outstanding warrants.

Effective December 1, 2016, all chain restaurants with 20 or more locations are required to provide nutrition information related to standard menu items. All menus, menu boards, and drive through menu boards at qualified retail food businesses must include calorie content adjacent to the menu items and expanded nutritional information must be available in written form upon request.
